10collective gets in behind Brunswick Street (literally).

April 15, 2016 | By Priya Bhana

10collective are so proud to be a sponsor of the Brunswick Street ‘All Out’ Day, Sunday May 1st, 2016. Kat Cazanis (whose brainchild ‘All Out’ is) and her business Nitty Gritty have been affiliated with Georgie Carpenter and the 10collective crew both personally and professionally for years, in the heart of Fitzroy. And that’s what this event is about – heart.

We can’t think of anything better than to encourage Melburnians to come out and visit our hood, Fitzroy, support local businesses and remember how #dope Brunswick Street is. 10collective is literally found in the ‘rear’ of Brunswick Street and we love our Humans of Fitzroy. We couldn’t agree more with Kat’s call to ‘Keep Brunswick Street Weird’!

We’re super excited about the community aspects of the day, especially adding a flower to Flower Vasette’s communal flower wall. We’re also stoked that there will be walking Art Tours, a caricature artist and all proceeds for both go to the Fitzroy Soup Kitchen. There are some pretty amazing workshops happening too. But let’s be honest, you’ll probably find the 10c crew sampling wine at Wine Republic (from midday), cheese tasting (from midday) at Wilkins & Kent and Vegan chocolate tasting at The Cruelty Free Shop (from 3pm).

Don’t forget, it’s Mother’s Day soon so get down to Zetta Florence to ‘Make your own Mother’s Day Card’ and then get her something special at one of the 30+ participating retailers. Check out what’s on, make a personalised program and email it to yourself on the site.

10collective’s community includes the dreamers, the believers, the courageous, the cheerful, the planners, the doers – as Wilferd Peterson’s quote goes, we walk with “the successful people with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground”. So come take a walk with us down Brunswick Street (and back up it) on Sunday May 1st, we’re going all out.
